Insulation creates a barrier between the inside and the external environment. On a hot day the foil panels will reflect the heat back out and away from a building, preventing it from getting overly hot. This works in reverse during the winter too as the panels will barricade the inside of the garage from the harsh outside elements, keeping the warmth inside. Will make a 13-17 degrees temperature difference all year round.
